Beltane is traditionally celebrated May 1st, but at Fairy Fresh Farm, we celebrate the week of Beltane! Beltane represents the peak of Spring and the beginning of Summer. Earth energies are at their strongest and most active. This is a time to honor the Goddess and Divine Feminine within each of us and a time of passion and fertility, marking the return of vitality to both the Earth and the Sun.
We would be honored to have you join us in this Community Celebration! Jim Wert and Christel Libiot are joining us to honor this special time with a Sacred Cacao Ceremony! The Cacao energy, known as Ixcacao, is often experienced as feminine Shakti energy – life-giving, nourishing and energizing. The sacred Cacao bean was also associated with Xochiquetzal, an Aztec fertility maiden associated with love, beauty, childbirth, feminine sexual power and female crafts.
We will have a Beltane Altar, so if you feel called, bring an honoring to ass to it!
